STUDENT RECRUITMENT EFFORTS

Earlier this year the NCRA Chapter IV held an event at East Carolina University.  There were over 50 individuals in attendance with approximately 25 of them being ECU students.  The students were able to meet all of the VR managers in the Eastern Region and enjoy a lively program from Daniel Stevens, rehabilitation education specialist.  Thanks to NCRA for sponsoring the event with a check for $200.00

A BIG THANK YOU!!

FOR YOUR SUPPORT AND THE SUCCESS

IN CHAPTER IV's MISSION TO HELP

"WOUNDED WARRIOR BATTALION-EAST"

During last year's NCRA Annual Training Conference, Chapter IV collected "newly released" or "recent" DVD movies and musical CDs to help our United States marines and sailors who have been severely wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan.   We received 210 DVD's and 25+ musical CD's.  This project is located at Camp Lejeune near Jacksonville.

Chapter IV would like to continue their support to this project on an ongoing basis.  If you have any slightly used DVD's or know of a business such as Blockbuster Video, Walmart or even your local grocery stores, who are in the process of re-doing their inventory, please ask them if they would consider donating them to our
Wounded Warrior Battalion East project.

The videos or games can be mailed to:

Vocational Rehabilitation Services
Eastern Regional Office
Attn: Donna Storie
404 Saint Andrews Drive
Greenville, NC 27834

Donna will be more than happy to make sure these video's are delivered to The Wounded Warrior Battalion East Barrack at Camp Lejune. If you would like a thank you note sent to your contributor, please include their name and address along with the package.

Again, Chapter IV thanks you for your support.
